* This list includes 22,707 nonprofits included on one or more of the public registers listed below. In addition to these, Benefacts harvested names and some other data for 3,139 religious bodies (published by Church authorities) – and local nonprofits (listed on the websites of Public Participation Networks for each county in Ireland). Since neither of these groups are covered by Open Data regulations, the data was used for research purposes only and is not included here.

All personal data (e.g. directors’ names) has been removed from these files.
